When I awoke, I was covered in leaves. What had happened to me and the world around? It was fall in a forest, the wind was cold, and there was no one else to be seen.
Where am I?
I got up and wandered around for a while to try to find my way out of the forest that I was apparently in. But for all that searching, there were only more bare trunks and leaves.
Suddenly, I heard a sound, almost like a terrible roaring of wind, and foot falls like an elephant thundering through the trees. A huge beast raced into view. It was a—a dragon?! And more terrifying than anything I’d ever seen. He was being chased by several of what looked like knights on flying speeders?!
When am I?
The knights had long laser lances and herded the dragon right for me. All at once, a portal opened ahead of us as I ran away from the monster. Without even seeming to notice me, the dragon accidentally scooped me up in its nose and through the portal we went.
When am I now?
