I’m an author and freelance writer and editor based in beautiful West Michigan.

Helping my clients put their ideas into clear, engaging words in a timely manner is the best part of any job. I work with fiction and nonfiction in all types of written media.

My experience includes writing and editing in the areas of newspaper articles, ad copy, web page content and Facebook posts, short fiction, novels, memoirs, and children’s stories and poetry. I write in a personable and communicative style.

As an editor, I strive to provide my clients with a good balance between correct grammar and appropriate tone, making their projects clearly understood by readers without sounding stilted or stiff.

I can work in person with local clients, and remotely with clients from around the world. Lending a creative and friendly atmosphere to a project, I listen to my clients’ vision for all their writing needs, and I’m ready to act upon that vision. A good knowledge of English, along with experience in Microsoft Word and Google Docs, helps me in serving clients to the best of my abilities. I’m able to do research, online and offline, for projects, to get the most well-rounded information for my clients as possible.
